Future books in the Infinity's Rainbow series.
Two related works are in the process of being written at present:
Foundations of Infinity's Rainbow, develops a universal theory of why civilizations collapse and then applies this theory to the 5,000 year long history of civilizational collapses across the planet. Finally, it applies my findings to our present day world-spanning civilization. This book in some ways is similar in theme and organization to the book which I had originally planned to write 6-7 years ago, before the rush of events changed everything.

Foundations of Infinity's Rainbow
The Path Through Infinity's Rainbow follows directly from where Infinity's Rainbow: The Politics of Energy, Climate, and Globalization leaves off. The Path Through Infinity's Rainbow addresses the fundamental tactical and strategic questions of individual and group survival in the context of creating a civilization which is humane and sustainable. It is about how to transform ourselves, our communities, and the world.
This book will incorporate the 100 or so pages on the topics above, which were not included in Infinity's Rainbow. In fairness to the Publisher and Editors of the initial book, I will agree that description and prescription are are pest presented separately, given the level of detail required for this set of topics. Thus separation into two topically well defined books is a good idea.
I'll link the book's conclusion as I initially wrote it, below. One idea which I stress, which I have not seen articulated elsewhere, is planet-wide energy sharing. This topic is discussed in Infinity's Rainbow, however; the wider political context underlying my proposing this strategy is not fully presented. Indeed, the only person I know of who seems to have grasped the implications of this strategy was R. Buckminster Fuller. The Path Through Infinity's Rainbow, will thus build directly upon, and expand upon ideas and concepts developed in Infinity's Rainbow.
